Artistic Skate Classes

Enjoy skating activities at The Rink: Artistic Skating Artistic skating demands a careful balance of strength, precision and artistry - all wrapped up into a single performance. Many challenges exist to inspire all ages to reach individual goals, from beginner classes to national and international levels. Skaters can train and compete in several artistic categories on quads or inline artistic style skates. Artistic Classes can be paid either individually at $11 each, or via the monthly session/class ticket (individuals $90 or families $155) this ticket gives you entry to Public Skate Sessions & Artistic & Learn to Skate Classes of your skill level........ (it does not include any visiting coaches or fitness classses). "Begin @ Learn to Skate" Start at Learn to Skate Classes (Mon & Thurs 5 PM & Sat 3 PM) or book private lessons and build your skate skills. From level 3 upwards you can now begin to join the rollersport class, perhaps artistic, or speed skating. "Artistic Classes" "Private Lessons" running for all levels and ages All classes have accredited teachers Over 40 hours of Artistic Skating a week Showskate Classes and enrolments begin - from 2nd Oct (the show is on 17th Dec = 8 weeks training) January = Summer Skate Camp 3rd to 13th - Susan covers off skate, fitness and sport specific skills. On skate classes + Roller Art + Coaching skills + Theory to prepare for the 2018 yeat. 11-13 visiting Dance Coach Gawaine Davis for classes and private lessons. Camp is open to all skaters, all clubs and all ages this year. Competitions – Show’s – Seminars Several competitive events, seminars and guest coaches are available each year at The Rink to improve the ongoing education and skills of all staff and students of all levels. The level of competition ranges from development and national to international events. Skaters must join the Bunbury Rollerskating Club and Skate Australia in order to compete at the events.
